Holy Grail Potential: Clinique Take the Day off Makeup Remover

I told you guys I had another Potential Holy Grail product to show you and here it is!

I got this makeup remover as, you guessed it, a gift with purchase! As much as I love putting on makeup and wearing it, I also love the feeling of having a bare face. What I don't love is the makeup removal process; it can be such a pain and take much longer than you'd like when it's the end of the day and you just want to relax and be done for the day.

This is a "two-way" product, so you'll need to shake it before each use and what I love about it is that it removes everything and fast! You don't have to pull at your eyes and you don't even have to hold the cotton pad there for long before it'll start breaking down the makeup. I have the Maybelline Rocket mascara in waterproof and I actually stopped wearing it for a while because I had such a hard time getting it off, but this removes it so easily!

It also has a gentle formula that Clinique claims will not irritate your eyes and so far, I've had no problems with that and I do have sensitive eyes. I have tried several liquid eye makeup removers in the past and this is by far the best one yet. I do still love the Neutrogena eye makeup remover lotion that I featured in my Top 10 Under $10, but I would definitely recommend this one as well.

Check it out here.

Have you guys tried this or do you have any that you think I should try? Let me know!

  2. I got given this in a beauty pack when I spent over a certain amount and I didn't like this product at all, I felt like it was really oily! Perhaps you could check out my review on my daily cleansing products (: http://www.momentsofbeautywars.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/no7-beautiful-skin.

    1. That's how I got this as well. I don't find it to be as bad as some that I've had in the past.

  3. This definatly did the job when I tried it but I also found it to be quiet oily, I tend to use the L'Oreal Paris 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution that ~I reviewed on my blog. It's also much kinder to my purse too :)

    1. It is a little oily, but I think it's really just the nature of the product. I've had a few that really bother my eyes, but this one hasn't. I'll have to try the L'Oreal one though!

  4. I used to use this all the time and loved it. Then I switched to Bioderma as it's less oily but it's still a fab product! Great review hun :)

  5. I haven't used this in years but I used to love it! I prefer using my Liz Earle Cleanse + Polish to remove all my makeup :)
