Festive Fall Outing: A Trip to the Farmer's Market

This past weekend we decided to try something a little different and go to a Farmer's Market that we heard about. It was so much fun walking around and seeing all of the fresh and homemade foods that aren't packed with a lot of crazy ingredients or artificial colors and flavors.

So many fresh cheeses! 

Homemade Butter! We didn't get any on this trip, but next time we go I definitely want to try it!

Obviously, this was my favorite section. Candy for dayssss :)

We were SO excited to see Candy Apples and Caramel apples. They ever had chocolate covered pineapple and bacon! Yes, bacon!

We wanted to try the chocolate covered bacon, but were a little apprehensive, so we just got one to share and it was delicious! It was such a great sweet and savory combination! I'll definitely be getting another next time! hehe :)

You didn't think we were going to NOT get a caramel apple, did you? And yep, it's covered in Reese's Pieces...aka heaven.

I loved looking at all of their baked goods. If you name it, they had it! So many great breads, cakes, pies, danishes, doughnuts, and the list goes on.

We also got one of these to try. It was basically turkey sausage and cheese wrapped in a homemade pretzel. The pretzel was my favorite part, it was so buttery, but was tart from the salt!

These are the goodies that we made it home with. We got a potato salad with bacon, a block of swiss cheese, an apple fritter, apple cider doughnut and regular glazed doughnut, the caramel apple and a jar of delicious pumpkin butter!
